About Us
At Carnelian Psychological and Educational Group, we are here to help!
We are a practice that is dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion and access. As second generation Americans and women of color, we understand the unique challenges that face underrepresented populations. We are committed advocates, and strong believers in equitable and inclusive access to psychological services. We are constantly engaged in the most current research in order to stay up to date in this continually growing and evolving area of healthcare. As professionals who have worked in clinic, school, and home settings, we understand what it takes to support children in any environment.
Dr. Caruz-Fribourg is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator in Los Angeles. Her expertise is in serving gifted children, children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), specific learning disorders, and childhood anxiety; and supporting their caregivers.
Her genuine approach helps her connect with children and their families in a safe and comfortable environment. Coming from a large family shaped her understanding of the complexities of human behavior. Outside of her practice, she loves spending time with her husband and children who give her a greater perspective on joy, life, and the challenges that come with parenting.
